Selected by Colorado Biz Magazine as one of the “Top 25 Most Powerful Salespeople” in January of 2009, Chad has spent the last ten years of his career building sales and marketing engines for small-to-medium businesses focused on scalable, sustainable growth. Additionally Chad has established himself as an evangelist and thought leader in the ‘digital’ space – working with companies to maximize their customer experiences, digital strategies and develop an understanding of user-experience design focused on maximum ROI to the business.
Chad’s background in ‘experience’ marketing and selling enterprise services as well as software products (mobile, SaaS and desktop) gives him a deep understanding of mobile, technology, strategy and trends as well as Motivational Design™ and the science behind user / customer engagement.
Currently, Chad serves as EVP, Sales & Marketing for Universal Mind – one of the largest, independent digital consultancies in the country. As a core member of the Executive Team Chad leads the sales and marketing efforts of the organization and is tasked with building a sustainable engine for growth. His proven track record of success as an executive in the ‘digital transformation’ space uniquely positions him to deliver market share and revenue results as well as serve as a critical member of a team focused on creating the best possible culture for employees.
Chad is an avid practitioner of consultative selling models, including ValueSelling, as well as effective social selling strategies to create mutually beneficial and profitable relationships while leading, mentoring and coaching sales and marketing teams to surpass expectations. He has an established record of building high-performance business development, sales and marketing teams; growing revenue; closing new business and creating strategic partnerships within Fortune 500 and Global 1000 companies.
Prior to Universal Mind, Chad lead sales and marketing for Cynergy – a digital agency based out of Houston, TX and was part of the team which successfully sold the company to KPMG. Before Cynergy Chad was VP of Sales and Marketing at Gorilla Logic and earlier in his career he lead Global Marketing for Dassault Systemes – Spatial and eventually became one of their top Executive Account Managers. He has a B.S in English from the University of Southern Indiana and an MBA in Marketing from Regis University in Denver.
When he’s not working you can find Chad spending time with his wife and two Rottweilers, exploring roads across the country on the back of his Harley, snowboarding down a mountain, writing or planning the next home improvement project.
